OSHA requires training to be site specific
Instructional content in many areas of your training must be specific to your site and to your operations. All training must be relevant to your specific industry and your processes and facilities. Some safety regulations require machine-specific training for lockout/tagout, training on specific hazards and chemicals that your workers are exposed to, as well as site-specific emergency response plans.

Customization is easy with MODIFY™
With MODIFY™, it’s easy to add the material you need to comply with your company’s and your industry’s unique requirements as well as government regulations. In fact, we even have pre-recorded audio segments that introduce your site-specific material.
For example, in our Hazard Communication programs, you can activate a narration file that we’ve provided on the CD that says, “Here is the emergency response plan for this location”. You then insert video, audio, pictures, and text that describe the plan. There are modification “helper” segments like this embedded in every course we publish.

Insert your own video, audio, and pictures
With MODIFY™, you can present your own material complete with new video, audio, and scenes from your operation.
Take pictures of your operation with a camcorder, record the narration to cover the material, encode the files (or have us encode them), then use MODIFY™ to insert it right into the lesson presentation.
You can even add your own narrated questions, or change or delete existing questions.

Remove material that doesn’t fit your operation
When you buy off-the-shelf training, you often have to settle for a program that includes material that isn’t relevant to your operation. You waste time presenting it, and the training loses credibility in worker’s eyes. Well, if it doesn’t apply, clip it out. Omit all material that isn’t relevant to your operation.

Make alternate versions for individual work groups Now, with release 2.0, you can easily create any number of alternative versions of a course. It’s so easy to do, even the needs of very small groups of workers can now be met.

MODIFY’s ability to add additional language tracks to an existing course, using the existing CD-ROM, is a technological breakthrough! MODIFY™ lets you add standard .WAV files that you create with your PC and microphone to replace the original sound tracks of the course. The audio substitution is done automatically by the Mastery Runtime System. Even small timing differences between the original video file and the new sound file are corrected automatically by the Runtime System. MODIFY™ also lets you replace the course’s system displayed text with the new language.
Add all the languages you want. There is no limit to the number of alternate languages you can offer for a course. The learner can select their preferred language when they take the course or you can control the language selection using Training Manager.
Yes. Alternate languages work on networks too!
