IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE! Only licensees (current licensed customers and licensed dealers) are authorized to download these files. These files and their contents are copyrighted materials and are protected under U.S. and international laws and treaties. You may only download (copy) these files if you are already a licensee of the programs which these files update. These files contain only components of the complete Mastery Technologies product it references. These files are not functional unless you have the original licensed programs and files. Which course updates do you need?
You need an update if the release level of your Mastery CD-ROM course is lower than the level appearing below the course title here. For example, if you have release level 7.100 of “Hearing Conservation”, you should install the 7.101 (or higher) update. However, if your “Hearing Conservation: A Sound Choice” CD-ROM shows “7.101” or higher, you do not need the 7.101 update.
If your course CD is release 5.xxx or 6.xxx, you do not need updates from this page. Instead check for an update on “Course Updates To Releas 6 CDs” or the “Course Updates To Releas 5 CDs” page.

How do you know which release you’re on?
Look at the course’s CD or the spine label on its plastic case. The release level is always a three-decimal place number. Example: 7.028

How do you install course updates?
All the course update files in this section are self-installing program files. However, the best way to install an update (or any Mastery product) is to use the Install Mastery Products program:

1. Double-click the “Install Mastery Products” icon from the “Training Administration” Program Group.
2. Select “Course Update” as the item being installed.
3. Select the correct source and target drive letter.
4. Click “OK”.

What if you want to update many courses?
An Update CD-ROM is available from Mastery that contains all systems and course updates. With one pass of the “Install” program, you can automatically update the Runtime, STARS, MODIFY and all detected courses on a system. The Update CD-ROM is free if you subscribe to our Extended Support Plan. There is a $25.00 fee for the disc if you are not a subscriber. You can e-mail your order here. Please provide all account or credit card information in your e-mail order (we accept American Express, VISA, Discover, and Mastercard).

Course Updates to Release 7.xxx CDs:

These update files will bring CD-ROMs that were published under release level 7.000 or higher, up-to-date with the current version. See the notations associated with each file for course changes that are included in the update.

NOTE: If your course CD-ROM is lower than release level 7.000, you do not need an update from this section. Instead go to the Release 6 CD - Course Updates Section or the Release 5 CD - Course Updates Section.
